Sonya is a tireless advocate for suicide awareness and prevention both at AFSP and The TKD Foundation where she is on the executive board of both foundations.   Her “day” job is the EVP of Culture for an INC 5000, Best WorkPlaces in Philadelphia, National Facilities Maintenance and Construction Company.  

 

When not sharing her “WHY” to Start the Conversation, Sonya is wife and mother of 2 teens, a Sunday School Director for her church, and the High School Band Booster President.   Most recently, she was elected Board Chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, where she looks to continue to work with State and National legislators to advance mental health reform both in PA and at national level.
